Succession Planting
Definition
Making multiple small sowings of the same crop at regular intervals (e.g., every 2–3 weeks) rather than one large sowing, to extend the harvest period and avoid a single large glut. Succession planting is particularly effective for lettuce, radishes, beans, and cut flowers.
