Piscidia carthagenensis

Piscidia carthagenensis is a tree in the legume family native to tropical dry forests of the Caribbean and Central America. The genus Piscidia, known as Jamaica dogwood, contains trees whose roots and bark contain ichthyotoxic compounds historically used for fishing. This species likely grows in dry coastal forests and produces pinnate leaves, clusters of pea-shaped flowers, and the characteristic four-winged pods of the genus.
