Acacia flavescens, known as yellow wattle or primrose wattle, is a small tree native to coastal Queensland. It typically grows in sandy coastal heath and wallum scrub, producing pale yellow to cream-colored flower heads. It is one of many Acacia species adapted to the nutrient-poor, waterlogged sandy soils of the Queensland coastal plain.
