Jacksonia compressa is a small shrub endemic to Western Australia, belonging to the pea subfamily of legumes. It grows in sandplain heath and woodland habitats of the southwestern Australian floristic province. The genus Jacksonia is named after the English botanist George Jackson, and most of its species produce yellow pea flowers without true leaves, instead using flattened stems for photosynthesis.
