Platylobium obtusangulum, the common flat-pea, is a shrub endemic to southeastern Australia, growing in heath and dry sclerophyll woodland and forest. The epithet obtusangulum refers to its blunt-angled stems. It produces yellow and reddish-brown pea flowers and has distinctive flat pods, and is found from South Australia to Victoria and New South Wales.
