Aotus ericoides, known as common egg-and-bacon pea, is a small shrub endemic to southeastern Australia. It grows in heath and dry sclerophyll woodland on sandy or skeletal soils, producing yellow and orange pea flowers in spring. The foliage is heath-like and needle-fine, an adaptation to the nutrient-poor soils of the Australian heath environment.
