Senna truncata

Senna truncata is a perennial herb or subshrub native to semi-arid regions of South America, particularly in the dry Caatinga and cerrado vegetation zones of Brazil. It produces yellow flowers typical of the genus and compound pinnate leaves, with pods that may have a characteristic truncated or squared appearance.
