Acacia salicina, the native willow or cooba, is a graceful weeping tree native to inland Australia. Its long pendulous phyllodes resemble willow leaves, inspiring both its common and scientific names. It grows along watercourses and in seasonally flooded areas across arid and semi-arid Australia, providing shade and shelter in otherwise harsh landscapes and being planted widely for revegetation.
