Dalea reclinata is a perennial herbaceous legume native to Mexico, growing in dry rocky slopes, grasslands, and open scrubland in the highlands of central Mexico. It bears dense spikes of purple to violet flowers with the characteristic glandular dots on leaves and bracts typical of the Dalea genus. The species is adapted to the semi-arid conditions and thin soils of Mexican highland regions.
