Lupinus colcabambensis is a perennial lupine endemic to the Colcabamba region of Peru, growing in Andean montane scrubland and grassland habitats. It produces flower spikes with pea-type blooms in blue or purple and palmately compound leaves with silky hairs adapted to the harsh Andean environment. The species is part of the enormous radiation of Lupinus in the Andes, where more than 100 endemic species occur.
