Astragalus piutensis, known as Piute milkvetch, is a perennial leguminous herb endemic to the Piute Mountains and adjacent ranges of Kern County in southern California, USA. It grows on dry, rocky slopes and ridges in juniper-pine woodland and chaparral habitats, producing pink to purple flowers and pinnate leaves with silvery hairs. The species has a very restricted range and is considered rare in California.
