Crudia acuminata

Crudia acuminata is a tree in the Caesalpinioideae subfamily native to tropical South America and possibly the Caribbean, growing in humid lowland and gallery forests. Like other members of the genus, it produces spicate racemes of flowers lacking petals, a characteristic feature of Crudia, and long, indehiscent seed pods. The species grows in moist, tropical forest habitats along streams and in lowland rainforest.
