Errazurizia benthamii is a shrub or subshrub in the Fabaceae family native to Mexico, belonging to a small genus of desert-adapted legumes found in the Chihuahuan and Sonoran deserts. It grows on rocky slopes, dry arroyos, and desert plains, producing small pea-type flowers and compound leaves with glandular dots characteristic of the genus, named for the Chilean botanist Federico Errázuriz. The plant is highly adapted to extreme heat, drought, and rocky substrate.
