Acacia shirleyi

Acacia shirleyi

Acacia shirleyi, the lancewood wattle, is a small tree native to Queensland. Its narrow, lance-shaped phyllodes give rise to its common name. It grows in open dry woodland and grassland on clay plains of central Queensland, tolerating the strongly seasonal rainfall and heavy cracking clay soils of the subcoastal interior.
