Chamaecrista claussenii

Chamaecrista claussenii is a herbaceous perennial legume native to Brazil, particularly the cerrado biome and dry grasslands of central and eastern Brazil. It produces yellow flowers typical of the genus and pinnately compound leaves with glands at the petiole base, growing in open savanna vegetation with seasonal drought. The species is part of the diverse Chamaecrista flora of South America, with Brazil being the center of genus diversity.
