Senna mandonii

Senna mandonii is a shrub or small tree native to the Andes of Bolivia and Peru, named after the French botanical collector Louis Mandon who worked extensively in Bolivia during the 19th century. It produces yellow flowers and pinnately compound leaves typical of the genus, growing in montane scrubland, dry valley forests, and forest margins in the Andes. The species is adapted to the seasonally dry conditions of Andean inter-mountain valleys.
