Bossiaea disticha

Bossiaea disticha is a small shrub endemic to Western Australia, belonging to the pea subfamily of legumes. It grows in the sandplain heaths and mallee scrublands, with leaves arranged distichously (in two opposite rows) as its name indicates. The plant produces characteristic yellow and brown pea flowers and is adapted to the nutrient-poor sandy soils of the southwestern Australian floristic province.
