Desmodium incanum

Desmodium incanum, commonly known as creeping beggarweed or Spanish clover, is a sprawling perennial herb native to tropical America and now widely naturalized across the tropics and subtropics worldwide. It produces small pink to purple flowers and characteristic jointed seed pods with sticky hairs that readily attach to clothing and animal fur. The species is used as a forage plant and green manure, valued for its ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen.
