Drosophyllaceae

A monotypic family (Drosophyllum lusitanicum — dewy pine). A carnivorous plant of dry rocky Mediterranean scrubland. Traps insects on sticky stalked glands. One of the few carnivorous plants in non-waterlogged habitats.
