Lupinus otuzcoensis is a lupine endemic to the Otuzco area of La Libertad department in northern Peru, growing in Andean montane scrubland and grassland. It produces dense spikes of pea-type flowers and silky-hairy palmate leaves adapted to the dry montane conditions of northern Peru. The northern Peruvian Andes represent a zone of high lupine diversity with numerous locally endemic species.
