Acacia silvestris, the forest wattle, is a shrub or small tree native to the coastal ranges and adjacent areas of New South Wales. Growing in tall wet sclerophyll forest and dry rainforest margins, it occupies more sheltered and moister habitats than many wattle species. It produces creamy white to pale yellow flower heads in spring.
