Coronilla orientalis

Coronilla orientalis is a small perennial subshrub native to the eastern Mediterranean region and western Asia, growing in rocky limestone habitats and dry hillsides. It produces clusters of pink and white pea flowers and narrow seed pods that break into segments at maturity. The genus Coronilla is known for containing cardiac glycosides that make the plants toxic if ingested in large quantities.
