Spathionema kilimandscharicum

Spathionema kilimandscharicum is a climbing legume native to the montane forests of East Africa, named after Mount Kilimanjaro. The genus Spathionema is a monotypic or nearly monotypic African genus in the tribe Phaseoleae. This species grows in the humid montane forests and forest margins on the slopes of Kilimanjaro and other East African mountains, producing small papilionoid flowers and narrow pods.
