Chamaecrista zambesica

Chamaecrista zambesica is a herbaceous annual or short-lived perennial legume native to the Zambezi river basin and surrounding areas of southern and central Africa. It grows in open grasslands, woodland clearings, and disturbed ground, bearing yellow flowers with paired leaflets and producing slender flattened pods. The species is part of the large and ecologically important Chamaecrista genus in tropical Africa.
