Acacia lanigera, the woolly wattle, is a small shrub endemic to southeastern Australia. As its name suggests, it is covered in soft woolly white hairs that give the plant a distinctive pale, felted appearance. It grows in dry heath and mallee scrub on sandy or loamy soils, producing yellow spherical flower heads in spring.
