Mirbelia dilatata, known as holly-leaved mirbelia, is a shrub endemic to the southwestern Australian floristic province. Its leaves are prickly with spiny teeth, resembling those of European holly (Ilex), an adaptation thought to deter browsing by animals. It grows in heath and mallee scrubland, producing purple-violet pea flowers in spring.
