Acacia rhodoxylon, known as rosewood or rose mahogany wattle, is a small tree native to Queensland. It is highly valued for its beautiful pinkish-red timber, among the finest produced by any wattle species, and has been heavily exploited resulting in its rarity in the wild. It grows in dry monsoon scrub and vine thickets on fertile soils in central and southern Queensland.
