Ainsliaea tonkinensis is a perennial herbaceous plant in the daisy family native to the Tonkin region of northern Vietnam and adjacent southern China. It produces small whitish or pale composite flower heads on erect scapes rising from a rosette of broadly lobed leaves, growing in shaded forest understory and rocky slopes. The genus Ainsliaea is diverse in subtropical East and Southeast Asia with over 70 species.
